 Born in Toronto, Ontario but raised in various regions across Canada, Teri's earliest inspiration was her mother, who sketched portraits of family members as a hobby. While her first artistic attempts involved cartooning as a child, she was later inspired to imitate native art while travelling with her family through Western Canada. A resident of English Harbour in Antigua since October of 2002, Teri divides her time between the Caribbean, Bali and France focusing primarily on the landscapes and seascapes inspired by these locales. With a Master’s degree in Art, Teri is not only qualified but greatly enjoys encouraging young people to develop their artistic abilities and has taught junior high level art. |
