Teri has travelled extensively throughout North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and the Orient. Influenced by her travels, the natural and cultural sights of these regions have become the subject matter of her art. “Surrounded as I am much of the time by such vibrant, natural beauty it is impossible as an artist not to be inspired to capture on canvas the spirit, color or texture of many of the beautiful places I find myself.” Teri has focused at times on the freedom and mystery of the sea and the life forms to be found there. Ever a lover of sand and sun, the beaches of the Caribbean and Indonesia have recently inspired her sand paintings which have been popularly received. Tropical birds and wildlife are always a favorite subject matter and a new direction for these can be anticipated in the near future. As a painter, her prefered medium is acrylic or acrylic and sand on canvas but she has worked with pencil, charcoal, watercolour, pastel, conte and oils. Some of the work shown on this website was commissioned work and not available but much of the art work shown is available for sale.
